Way back in the summer of 2007, a group of promoters set out to offer Ottawa something different. That something was DFF, a monthly hard dance event that incorporated many different styles and welcomed everyone with open arms. No one could of predicted the success that would follow. Over 3 years later the event was still running strong, becoming Ottawa's longest running Hard Dance event. Deep Frequency Fusion evolved over the years to include different styles of music and art, but the passion for hard dance and the sense of community was always present. In the summer of 2010 we bid farewell to DFF on the sold out Final DFF Boat Cruise. Now, 2 years later, we invite you all back, for the DFF Reunion Party! Whether you're a DFF veteran, or a newcomer to the scene, this is not an event to be missed!

Lady Bass

Lady Bass began DJing over 10 years ago while working for an internet radio station. She started out playing all different styles of music, during a weekly online show, but she always knew that her love for hard music would one day take her in a new direction.

Today you can find her behind the decks spinning up a storm, UK Hard House, Nu NRG, Hard Trance, House, Tech-House and Electro styles! She has played everywhere from Montreal to Calgary, as well as in parts of the US – sharing the decks with some of the world’s top DJs!

Her influences are the many DJs in the Toronto and International underground, club, rave, and electronic music radio scene. She is also very influenced by the style of her DJ partner Toronto’s own KenFinch.ca/DJ Viper who taught Lady Bass a lot about DJing. Lady Bass, a member of the CHILLS DJs also hosts events in Toronto through her own promotions company – Bring The Bass Events! She also has several rave company residencies, has held down various club night residencies and has headlined many events across North America. She has also hosted and DJed on several FM and internet radio shows including her current weekly show – Bring The Bass Radio with Lady Bass on Digitally Imported Radio (di.fm) which can be heard every Thursday from 2-4pm EST and as a weekly podcast.

Joe Rowe

Joe has played at some of the top venues and events in the world, including several gigs at the Guvernment (Voted #8 Nightclub in the world), Circa (Voted 2007 #1 New Nightclub in the World), Trinity Rooms (#1 Nightclub in Ireland 3 years running), several appearances at Revolution in New York City, the World Electronic Music Festival and even the Grand Oasis in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic to name a few!

Signed to Great Britain Hardstyle Records, Joe's first release alongside Khalid S was picked up by a second label and is now featured on The Best of Hardstyle & Jumpstyle Vol. 2 by Trance Gold Records! Known for his tight mixing skills and energy behind the decks, this 2 time DJ comp winner has been rocking dance floors for years with a career spanning over 200 gigs in 5 countries and counting!

Over the years Joe has had the opportunity to play alongside many of the worlds top DJs, bands and performers, including UK rock legends Nazareth, Canadian fiddler virtuoso Ashley Macisaac, Juno award winning artist Choclair, Wes Bentley from the Oscar award winning movie American Beauty, Hip Hop/Urban superstar Sean Kingston, Indy Rock sensations The Sam Roberts Band, Igor Cavalera from Sepultura, DJ Icey, EVOLIntent, Scott Brown, Ludachrist, Computer Club, Trooper, M.A.N.D.Y, Global DeeJays, Hatiras, Deko-ze, JELO, DJ Isaac, Luna C, The Panacea, Entity, Mat the Alien, DJ Unknown, UFO, Dutch Master, Delerium, Billy Daniel Bunter, Rob Gee, Delta 9, Stephan Grondin, Manu Le Malin, Luke Spellbound, A*S*Y*S, Impact, Nelly Fertado's tour DJ Shine, Charlie Major, The Stampeders, and Omar Santana just to name a few!!

In addition to adhering to his busy DJ schedule, Joe has also organized nearly 50 EDM events! From his Christmas food drive to Recognition to DFF and his massive party Galaxy, Joe's events are well received and showcase a variety of DJ & Producer talent from around the world in a great party atmosphere alongside upcoming local artists!

With a diverse vinyl & digital music collection, and his own productions under his belt, Joe is known as a very diverse DJ, with a passion for everything from House, Electro & Prog, to Hardstyle, Trance & Techno.

Woblz

Hailing from Ottawa, Woblz is the undisputed heavyweight of dubstep in the capital region. Starting out with a residency at Club Vibe at the age of 14, Woblz has spent his time mastering his sound and technique. Previously known as Supaman, he quickly became huge part of the Ottawa Hardstyle scene for many years.

More recently, after a 2 year run with Deep Frequency Fusion, this DJ supahero found the orgasmic sound of dubstep, and instantly fell in love. Quickly mastering his new sound, he changed his name to Woblz and landed a residency with Capital Bass Culture (previously RnR). Over the past 2 years, Woblz has made a name for himself by smashing dancefloors and always playing new cutting edge tracks. Nowadays, Woblz has weekly radio shows on dnbnoize.com and dubplate.fm and threw Ottawa's dubstep monthly night Basslaced. Known for his impeccable mixing technique and a knack for finding the freshest tracks, be sure to check this guy out cause by the time he's done, you'll be begging for more.

Type-Z.E.R.O

A DJ career dating back to 2001, and production dating back to 1997, Type-Z.E.R.O. Has been at this game for a while. Originally taking root in progressive and techno, his sound has evolved across almost every genre of trance and now settling in on Hardstyle. Obsess with the genre, Type-Z.E.R.O. has dedicated himself to perfecting his mixing techniques and playing some of the most uplifting and driving melodies combined with the hardest and dirtiest drum beats around.

After an almost 4 year hiatus, he's back with a vengeance... with a new sound and a new company, Type-Z.E.R.O.'s Overdrive Canada is ready to rip it up, and destroy dance floors. Having played along side of such names as DJ Sharkey, DJ Unknown, CLSM, Luna-C, Rodi Styles, DJ Prospect, DJ Pinnacle, Mark Smith, No-Left-Turn, The Blizzard Boys, Dain-Ja, P4L4DIN, DJ Mad, DJ Tamerax, DJ Virus, DJ Joe Rowe just to name a few. Crash Override

Ever since he was first introduced to rave when he got dragged out to see The Prodigy in the UK in 1995, Crash has been in love with the convergence of electronic and pop music, which he mixes with high energy dancefloor tunes and smooth basslines.

Since 2005, Crash Override has has booked, toured with, and appeared alongside some of the biggest names across a number of scenes, including The Panacea (DE), DJ? Acucrack (US),Luna-C (UK), Last of the Mohicans (UK), Madam Zu (UK), Rize (US), Bexxie (US), Tony Benino (US), No Left Turn (US), Maximum Moves (US), Deck Teaser (UK), Phosphor, The Liar's Rosebush, Iszoloscope, Ad.Ver.Sary, Acumen Nation, Synkro, Bella Morte, 16volt and Cyanotic.

Not content to simply play music, Crash's promotion Company, Project D, has been keeping the vibe alive in the National Capital Region since February 2007. K-Tops!

K-Tops has quickly risen to the top of the hardcore scene in Ottawa. His company Imaginary Rainbow Syndicate is responsible for some of Ottawa's best parties in recent years! Including Green Eggs & Ham, Stop, Drop & Dance & Taste the Rainbow! Over the years K-Tops has had the opportunity to play alongside some big names in the industry, including Sharkey, Paladin, Prospect, Pinnacle & more! Don't miss this high energy DJ as he closes out the night at his first DFF appearance!

Mugz

A local Ottawa favorite for many years, especially in the club and dubstep scene. Expect a bangin set from this former DFF resident! A member of Koncrete Jungle, School of Bass and a big part of the Alweezgrooven festival, this experienced DJ will have you begging for more!

Eko

In a short period of time Eric Lauzon, AKA Eko, has shown the EDM scene that he is definitely someone to keep our eyes on. With a natural talent for mixing, and a charismatic stage presence, he is quickly establishing himself as one of Ottawa's most sought after hard dance acts!

Known for playing a seamless mix of hard trance, psy-trance, German trance & hardstyle or Electro & Breaks, his sets never fail to get the dance floor rocking!! His first studio release, "Need More Energon" has been widely praised by both newcomers and veterans alike!

Eko got his first break at the infamous Deep Frequency Fusion, playing an opening set at the 2010 launch party. Following the success of his first booking, Eko went on to perform at a number of other notable Ottawa events, including the sold out Blender Bender, the RaveCanada.net Anniversary Party, Galaxy, Rush Delivery, and a closing set at Rise 'n' Shine to name a few!

With a number of gigs now under his belt, including his first out of town gig in Buffalo, NY, and even joining the promoter ranks with his first party, Power Up!, Eko shows no signs of slowing down, and it's only the beginning!! Don't miss your chance to see him in action.

Toshiro

This old school Ottawa DJ was a resident with DFF from the very beginning. Known for his technical skills and amazing trance sets. We are happy to have him on board for the reunion!

Astrix

This newcomer to the scene has been turning heads as of late, DFF has always been known to welcome fresh talent and the reunion will be no different! Be sure to show up early and give Astrix the attention he deserves! I expect big things in the future from this man.
